Community Involvement
Our Impact
Our Giving Back Story: In 1998 Bond&Devick started volunteering in the community with our clients. We have always been deeply involved in our community on a personal level and thought it would be fun and rewarding to invite our clients to spend time with us to help make the Twin Cities community a better place to live. Our first volunteer event was to purchase, prepare, and serve meals each quarter for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their children received medical care at the University of Minnesota Hospital. Over the years we added other charities, including an annual back to school ice cream social for the families staying the People Serving People homeless shelter for families, and an annual food packing event at Feed My Starving Children where we have packed and paid for tens of thousands of meals. In 2019 we celebrated 13 years of packing meals alongside our clients at Feed My Starving Children! In 2012 we began volunteering with our clients at the Minnesota Veterans’ Home where we call Bingo in January and hold a “Casino Day” in May. Every December we shop for 2-3 families through Interfaith Outreach Community Partners' "Adopt-A-Family" holiday gift giving program. We have sponsored Reading Carts and a Planting Day at Commons Park by US Bank Stadium.
Over the years our team and our clients have made a real difference in our community. We are proud of all we have done together and look forward to many more events in the future.
Since our volunteer activities were put on hold during the pandemic, we are thrilled to be back working alongside our clients and friends!
